eat: An R Package for fitting Efficiency Analysis Trees

eat is a new package for R that includes functions to estimate production frontiers and technical efficiency measures through non-parametric techniques based upon regression trees. The specifically implements the main algorithms associated with recently introduced methodology estimating of set decision-making units in Economics Engineering Machine Learning techniques, called Efficiency Analysis Trees [@esteve2020]. code input- output-oriented radial measures, Russell directional distance function weighted additive model, plotting graphical representations frontier by tree structures, determining rankings importance input variables analysis. Additionally, it perform an adaptation Random Forest efficiency. This paper describes implementation functions, reports numerical results using real data base application.
